Firefighters from Boone and Blowing Rock as well as members of Safe Kids Watauga County are putting on a special event that will be held Tuesday evening (October 6) at Beef 'O' Brady's Family Sports Pub in Boone from 5-7pm. Fire Trucks, Bounce Houses, and Sparky the Fire Dog will all be on hand for the kid-friendly event. Firefighters and members of Safe Kids will be sharing fire safety information with residents to help kick off Fire Prevention Week for area firefighters.
