Sugar Cup Competition on March 7th

Sugar Mountain's Annual Sugar Cup Competition is just around the corner. Since 1987, Sugar Mountain Resort has held this fundraising event that raises money for the American Cancer Society. Sunday, March 7 Sugar Mountain Resort is hosting the Dick Trundy Sugar Cup Competition. Dick Trundy was a former Director of Operations for Sugar Mountain Resort from 1987 until 2000. He passed away in 2002 of cancer, so this is a tribute to Dick and also a great opportunity to support the American Cancer Society. If you come and participate in the competition, you pay an entry fee of $15 and that money goes directly to the American Cancer Society. Registration begins March 7 at 7:30 a.m. and the competition begins at 9:00 on the Big Red Slope.
