Winter Weather Advisory Until Midnight

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Ashe, Alleghany, Avery, Mitchell, Burke, Watauga, Yancey and several other counties until midnight tonight. Snow accumulations of two to four inches are expected. Officials added this should be a heavy, wet snow, so blowing snow and drifts are not expected. After tomorrow and Thursday's slight chance of snow and/or rain, weather officials are calling for lots of sunshine this weekend for the High Country.
