Let the Summer Begin: Last Day of School for Area Students

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
last.jpgWell, it's every student's favorite time of the year, summer break! That's right, all the local students don't have to mark off any more days until the end of the school year because Friday marks the last school day of the year. Of course, many schools in the High Country would probably still be in session, but the state decided to allow many of the districts in the area to eliminate days from their schedules because of the severe winter weather this year that caused many days and weeks of missed classes. For all those seniors, graduation is Saturday at 11am. For all the returning students, enjoy your freedom, because the school year starts back up on August 11th, or 63 days from now.
