Local Man Arrested on Charges of Card Fraud

1mugshot.jpgBoone Police have detained a man suspected of card fraud. 29-year-old Johnathan Daniel Dunn was charged Tuesday with one count of felony financial card fraud. Dunn reportedly used an acquaintance's ATM card without permission to withdraw over $6,000 in June of 2009. Dunn was detained by Avery County officials at a scheduled court date in Avery County. He was then transported to Boone where a Watauga County magistrate assigned him a $2,000 secured bond and a July 21, 2010 court date.
