Student Build Earth Garden


Students from Lower Creek Elementary School have already brightened up their grounds in preparation for Spring. Students in Mrs. Boggs 5th grade class at Lower Creek Elementary School created an Earth Garden on campus after calculating the perimeter and area of the garden and estimating the cost of materials. The students worked very hard as they out their math skills to good use in determining the shape and the layout of the garden. Mrs. Stephanie Groshelle helped with the design of the garden and the students also got a little help from Lowes Home Improvement, Mike Willis, and Andy McGee.
