WHS Fullback Chambers Signs With Ferrum College


Watauga Pioneer Senior Kyle Chambers will be playing at the next level next year. Earlier this week, Chambers agreed to play for Ferrum College in Virginia. Last season, Chambers led the Pioneers in rushing with 1,402 yards and 17 touchdowns as a fullback, catching 8 passes for 75 yards and one recieving touchdown. Ferrum College is a Division III school out of the USA Aouth Atlantic Conference. Last year the Panthers finished the season with a 7 and 3 record, going 6 and 1 in the conference and winning 7 of their final 8 games under 2nd year head coach Dave Harper.
