Blues, Brews, BBQ, and Canoes Held At Wahoo's Adventures


Yesterday, folks of the service and tourism industry had the chance to get out and enjoy the spring weather at an annual event held here in the High Country. The 3rd Annual Blue Brews BBQ and Canoes was held by Wahoo's Adventures at their river complex on the New River. The event featured live music, food and a chance for those who dared to get out on the water and float around on kayaks and enjoy the cool spring weather. According to Wahoo's owner Jim Wahoo Stanley, the event is also an opportunity for business owners to come and network with other businesses and clients as the event is a free servie to those who work in the tourism and service industries here in the High Country. Folks enjoyed BBQ and live entertainment from 12 until 6pm at Wahoos as this was one of the biggest events to date.
