Man Arrested in Apartment Burglary


After investigations by the Boone Police about a man braking into

apartments in Boone. Police have charged twenty-nine-year-old  Corwyn

David Sergent with first degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking

and entering, felony identity theft and misdemeanor violation of a

domestic violence protection order. The investigation started after a

reported break in at a Brown Heights apartment on may 19th. Mr. Sergent

was arrested on June 4th and issued a seventy –five-thousand dollar bond

by Watauga County. Mr. Sergents court date is set for July 26th in

Watauga County.
