Road Construction Almost Complete


Well, if you have been traveling through Boone recently you know all about the construction being done on the roadways. However, there seems to be some good news for Watauga residents and great news for businesses on Boone Heights Drive. The surface pouring started yesterday on the US 321 bridge in Boone, at Boone Heights Drive, which is the final step of the project. With the surface pouring from a huge cement tube, hopes are to have the bridge complete before the busiest of the tourist season next month.
