1st Ever WW2 Symposium Comes To High Country
With the 4th of July just around the corner, folks of the high country are preparing for ways to help commemorate and celebrate the freedoms here in our country. There is one event coming to the High Country this August that will give people an inside look on the cost of freedom with the first ever World War 2 Symposium. Earlier we were joined by Ken Wiley, President of the Appalachian High Country World War 2 roundtable and host of The Veteran's Voice here on MTN, along with other members of the Roundtable who spoke on the first ever World War 2 Symposium coming here to the high county.
For more information on the symposium, you can visit their website at www.appalachianwwIIvets.org.
