Mountain City Celebrates Another Successful Sunflower Festival


Lots of fun events have been taking place this summer in the High Country, last weekend our neighbors over in Mountain City , TN held their 8thannual Sunflower Festival in historic downtown Mountain City. Streets were blocked off for the large crowds to explore all the many vendors and crafts that were on display. Live music  played all day. There were over 75 vendors displaying crafts, artworks quilts and much more,  stated Karla Prudome , economic director for Johnson County, we also had lots of fun things for the kids and plenty of food. The Sunflower Beauty Pageant concluded a very successful day for this years festival.
