Sheriff Kevin Frye Steps Up To 1st VP Of NCSA
Avery County Sheriff Kevin Frye has taken a step further in his career. After serving the past year as the 2nd vice president of the North Carolina's Sheriff's Association, Sheriff Frye has been named First-Vice President. Among his duties as Avery County Sheriff, Frye will now serve as an aid to North Carolina Sheriff's Association President Tony Perry. This will also shed some spotlight on Avery County and some of the issues it faces within law enforcement. The promotion has also positioned Sheriff Frye another step forward to serving as the President of the North Carolina Sheriff's Association, a move that could come next year.
