Man Airlifted After Weekend Motorcycle Accident In Watauga County


Another motorcycle accident over the weekend in the high country has left one man critically injured. The accident occured on Saturday afternoon when the male motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle while traveling down Reynolds Drive. According to authorities, the man hit some loose gravel, causing him to lose control and threw him from the motorcycle. Watauga Medics were able to stabalize the man as the WINGS Air Rescue Unit was called in from Johnson City. The man was then flown to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment.
