ASU softball let a four-run seventh inning lead slip away falling 9-8 to Gardner Webb in game two of a doubleheader Tuesday. GW won the first game 3-2. The Mountaineers led game two 8-4 in the seventh inning when GW scored on a sinlge, then a hit out to left field tipped off the left fielder's glove and went over the wall, resulting in a game winning grand slam. The losses drop ASU to 13-16 overall, with a return to SoCon play this weekend, when the Mountaineers travel to UNC Greensboro.
