Lees-McRae Tennis continues to play strong, defeating King College Tuesday. The Bobcat men were 8-1 winners over King, taking all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches. The 39th ranked Bobcat men improve to 10-5 overall this season. The Lady Bobcats shut out an opponent for the second time in two matches, taking a 9-0 win over King. Ashley Mayers continues her six-match win streak with her 6-0, 6-2 win at the number three spot. The senior is 9-2 on the season and 3-0 after moving to the three position. MTN's Len Murphy was at Monday's match against JC Smith and had a chance to talk to Bobcat Tennis Coach Paul Goode about how well his team is doing, and their next tough match this Saturday.
