Watauga Lady Pioneer Soccer Falls in Wilson NC

Watauga Lady Pioneers soccer fell to Jacksonville 1-0 Friday night in the opening round of the Brittany Willis Invitational in Wilson NC. On Saturday, the Pioneers were up 1-0, but Laney came from behind to take the round two win 2-1. Watauga's Kendall Conner was honored with the event's sportsmanship award. Lady Pioneer soccer vs Ashe on Monday has been rescheduled for April 9th, to allow the Lady Huskies to make up a conference game.

Watauga's Friday baseball game vs Alexander Central was postponed to Monday evening. The Saturday baseball game against Mount Tabor was also washed out and has been rescheduled for Tuesday night.

Lady Pioneer softball played their twice-rained-out game with Alexander Central on Saturday morning, and was defeated by Central 13-1, the softball games that were previously scheduled for Saturday at Shuey Park in Morganton were rained out and won't be rescheduled.
