Watauga Baseball Suspended By Storm

The Watauga Pioneer baseball game was also affected by weather on Friday. Storms in Icard forced a stop to the contest with the Pioneers trailing East Burke 3-2 in the top of the third inning. The game will resume Monday evening. The Pioneer JVs got their game in, it was a 10-2 win over East Burke.
Watauga Softball fell to East Burke 3-0. Lady Pioneer Soccer downed East Burke 5-0, and Watauga men's tennis continues to win, dropping McDowell 7-2, and improving 12-0 in the Northwestern Conference, 17-2 overall.
The Pioneer Track team hosted a conference meet at Pioneer Stadium Monday and Pioneer golf hosted a conference match at Boone Golf Club, we'll have results on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Watauga baseball, softball and womens soccer all host Alexander Central.
