Mountaineer basketball Friday night has the men in Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks, before heading to 20th ranked Louisville on Monday night. The men are 2 and 1 on the young season, having downed UNC Wilmington and Lees-McRae, and falling to East Tennesssee State. They defeated Arkansas 74-68 two years ago in Little Rock and hope to repeat that performance at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetville. Arkansas is 1-1 on the season, beating Alcorn State but falling to Louisville.

The Mountaineer women are at home hosting the Charlotte 49ers at the Holmes Center. The women defeated Marshall 63-58 last Friday in Huntington West Virginia. Charlotte is 0-2 after falling to East Carolina and South Carolina. Charlotte leads the series against the Apps 14-4, but despite the lopsided record, half of the 18 games have been decided by single digits.
