Watauga finished third, Matt Proffitt named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Pioneer wrestlers hosted the Old Appalachian Invitational:
Watauga finished in 12th place, 103  Gus Coffey went 2-2 for 6th place
119  Ethan Henson  went 3-1 for 5th place  
135  Jason Wood  was 2-2 for 6th place
152  William Pinkerton  was 2-2 for 4th place
The Pioneers next match will be at St. Stephens on Wednesday.
Pioneer basketball will host the Ashe Huskies Tuesday night at Lentz-Eggers Gym, then will go to McDowell on Saturday, those games will begin early, with the JVs getting started at 1pm instead of the usual 4pm.
