Earlier in the week it was announced that Bobby Allison and Daryl Walrtip were among the nominees for the first ever Nascar Hall of Fame class. The rest of the names on the list were released Thursday evening. Junior Johnson, Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough and Glenn "Fireball" Roberts are on that list. Car owners are represented, too, including Bud Moore, Raymond Parks, Rick Hendrick, Richard Childress and Glen Wood. NASCAR patriarch Bill France Sr and his son, Bill France Jr., are also among the candidates. With 200 career victories, 123 poles, 10 consecutive wins, and seven Daytona 500 victories, all records, the King is a lock to be honored.
